Robi clenched his fists as the marshal’s cold, rough hands gripped his testicles tightly. He winced in pain, feeling a surge of humiliation wash over him. This was just the beginning of what was sure to be a long, grueling process to prove himself worthy of the new uniform he so desperately desired.
The marshal’s stern voice cut through the air, “You will learn respect, boy.” With that, he raised the cane high above his head and brought it down sharply against Robi’s already bruised bottom. The impact sent waves of agony coursing through his body, making it difficult to breathe. Another caning, another hand spanking. Robi’s face burned with shame and his backside felt like it was on fire.
But he knew that he had to push through the pain. He had to endure. Every strike of the cane, every slap of the hand against his flesh, was a testament to his determination to earn the respect and admiration of those around him. He gritted his teeth, biting back the cries of anguish that threatened to escape his lips, and focused on the task at hand.
The marshal’s face was a mask of stoicism, his expression unreadable. But Robi could feel the man’s disapproval seething beneath the surface. With every blow, he felt as if the marshal were extracting a piece of himself, stripping him down to his core and forcing him to confront the deepest, darkest parts of his character. It was an uncomfortable process, to say the least, but Robi knew that it was necessary if he ever wanted to achieve greatness within the ranks of the regiment.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the marshal lowered the cane and stepped away. Robi’s entire body ached, but he refused to show any sign of weakness. He forced himself to stand tall, chest puffed out, shoulders back, despite the stinging welts that adorned his bottom. “I’m ready for more, sir,” he said through gritted teeth. “I won’t let you down.”
The marshal narrowed his eyes, studying Robi’s face for a moment. Then, with a nod, he gestured for Robi to turn around. As Robi did so, he braced himself for whatever punishment was to come next, determined to face it head-on and emerge stronger than ever before.
