Jonah was dressed in a button-up shirt, jeans, and a belt, a clear indication that he was ready for a special occasion. The glint of a wedding ring on his finger added to the significance of the day. He had just finished cleaning up his house when the doorbell rang. Jonah made his way to the entrance, opened the door, and greeted Dr. Smith with a warm smile. Dr. Smith was pleased to see Jonah, especially since he had allowed them to use his house for their friend Quin’s bachelor party.
As Jonah thanked Dr. Smith for agreeing to help him set up, Dr. Smith couldn’t help but share news of his latest hobby. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pendulum, beginning to swing it in front of Jonah’s face. Dr. Smith did a short induction before snapping his fingers, and Jonah’s eyes took on a blank, dreamy look. Jonah was under hypnosis.
Dr. Smith examined Jonah with fascination, waving his hands in front of his face and nudging him a few times. Jonah remained unresponsive, staring blankly ahead. Dr. Smith informed Jonah that he had been learning about hypnosis and that Jonah was going to be his first test subject. He then gave Jonah a set of commands to follow upon waking up.
‘Upon waking up, you will have no recollection of what has happened. You will believe that I have not yet arrived,’ Dr. Smith commanded. ‘Also, you will not be able to see, feel, or hear me.’ Jonah continued to stare ahead, completely unaware of Dr. Smith’s presence.
After a while, Dr. Smith woke Jonah up. As soon as Jonah was conscious, he immediately wondered what he was doing and declared that he needed to prepare for the party. He started cleaning up again, as Dr. Smith casually strolled around him, calling his name and trying to grab his attention. However, Jonah remained completely oblivious to Dr. Smith’s attempts, even as he poked and waved his hands in front of his face.
Satisfied that Jonah was under his control, Dr. Smith put him back into a trance. ‘Upon waking, you will believe that I have just arrived. However, you will not remember any of my actions or anything I do to your clothes or body,’ Dr. Smith commanded.
Jonah woke up again, and upon seeing Dr. Smith, he greeted him warmly, thanking him for coming. As they chatted about the plans for the party, including having alcohol and watching football, Dr. Smith started casually touching Jonah, slowly escalating his actions. Jonah, unaware of Dr. Smith’s presence, remained seated on the couch as they talked, both of them initially standing before moving to a sitting position.
The evening went on with Dr. Smith constantly testing Jonah’s unawareness, while Jonah innocently chatted away, unaware of any strange or unusual occurrences. As the night came to an end, Dr. Smith was satisfied with his first experimental subject and promised to use his newly acquired skills responsibly.
