Film911 – Jonah with Mister Latcher
Josh was lying on the medical bed, electrodes attached to his chest and a VR headset covering his eyes. He was twitching from time to time, moaning and groaning as his muscles tensed with each twitch. S looked over at Josh and exclaimed, ‘He is already ready! I can activate him now for a simple demo introduction of who he is and that he can fulfill all your desires.’
In the next scene, Dr. Smith approached Josh and proposed a project to him. He explained that he needed a volunteer for a new project that was sponsored and would pay well. Josh was desperate for a job to pay for his expenses, so he eagerly agreed to be a part of the project. He asked where he should sign to be a part of it.
Dr. Smith printed some documents for Josh to sign, but Josh didn’t bother reading them. He was just grateful to have a source of income. Dr. Smith then told him that the project was simple – he just needed a volunteer for his new prototype of gadgets that were not yet in the market. They were top secret and he needed volunteers to prove his theories. He showed Josh the gadgets – a pair of earbuds and a fitness band. The doctor explained that they would only boost one’s fitness ability and monitor vital signs. He reassured Josh that it wouldn’t cause any harm. He needed data and volunteers to back up his ideas, and for now, one would suffice. So, he handed over the gadgets to Josh and asked him to download a special app to sync the devices. This would also allow Dr. Smith to monitor Josh’s progress.
Josh was thrilled and excited to be a part of this project. He quickly downloaded the app as directed. Dr. Smith then told him that they were about to start and that the most important rule of the project was to never take the devices off. They were self-charging earphones that generated electricity from the body’s static. He had to wear them 24/7 for the project to be successful.
Josh nodded eagerly, ready to start this new adventure. He was determined to give his all and prove himself to Dr. Smith. Little did he know that this project would change his life forever.
As the days went by, Josh became accustomed to wearing the gadgets all the time. He noticed an increase in his fitness abilities and his vital signs were being monitored constantly. However, he also started experiencing strange side effects – his body would twitch randomly, and he would have unexplained muscle tension. But Josh ignored these signs, thinking that they were just minor glitches in the project.
